Every reading unfolds differently. Choose the format that best suits what you are looking for. I deliberately receive as little background information as possible beforehand.

Evidential Mediumship

A live online reading of about 45 to 60 minutes. I tune in to the spirit world and share the information as I receive it.

It matters to me that a reading is not only a feeling or a general message. I look for specific, recognisable information that has meaning for you.

I do not know beforehand who may come through. You may hope for or ask for a particular person, but I cannot guarantee who will connect. I do not try to direct or force a connection. Psychic information may also arise.

A personal reading focused on you. I tune in to what arises around personality, emotions, patterns, relationships and themes that may need attention.

You can choose a live Zoom consultation of about 45 to 60 minutes, or a written reading based on one or more photos.

For a written reading, I prefer not to receive a detailed life story beforehand. This helps me work as openly as possible.

Animal Intuitive Reading

An intuitive reading for a living or departed animal. You send me a clear photo, the animal's name and, if you wish, a few short questions.

I tune in at different moments and work my impressions into a personal written report. Here too, I prefer as little background information as possible.

An Animal Intuitive Reading does not replace examination, diagnosis or treatment by a veterinarian.

About me

Sensitive and intuitive, while always keeping a healthy dose of scepticism.

My name is Griselda Smit. From a young age I have been highly sensitive and intuitive. I could sense things or sometimes simply know them without understanding exactly where the information came from.

At the same time I have always remained grounded and questioning. I do not accept something simply because it sounds spiritual. That combination of sensitivity, curiosity and scepticism led me to keep exploring what I experienced.

That exploration led me deeper into mediumship and especially Evidential Mediumship. What appeals to me is that it is not only about a feeling or a beautiful message. Recognisable, specific information matters, especially information I could not have known beforehand.

To develop my mediumship further, I have attended training and workshops with internationally working mediums and tutors in the Netherlands and England, including at the Arthur Findlay College. I continue to develop, practise and learn.

My questioning side has never disappeared. I do not need to convince anyone about mediumship or what happens after death. I can only share what I experience and receive during a reading. Others are free to draw their own conclusions.

What matters most to me is no big promises, no judgement and no forcing information. I tune in, share what I receive and leave it to you to decide what you recognise and what holds meaning for you.

Can I ask for contact with a specific person who has passed?

Yes. I do not know beforehand who may come through and cannot guarantee a specific connection. I allow the reading to unfold without forcing contact.

What is the difference between Mediumship and a Psychic Reading?

With Evidential Mediumship the focus is on contact with the spirit world and recognisable information. A Psychic Intuitive Reading focuses on you and themes in your life. Psychic information may also arise during mediumship.

How does a Psychic Intuitive Reading work?

You can choose a live Zoom consultation or a written reading based on one or more photos. With both formats, I prefer as little background information as possible beforehand.

How does an Animal Intuitive Reading work?

You send a clear photo, the animal's name and optionally a few short questions. The reading can be for a living or departed animal and is prepared in writing.

Do I need to tell you a lot beforehand?

No. Preferably not. A name, contact details and the information needed for the chosen reading are enough.

Can a reading predict the future?

I share what I perceive at the time of the reading. I make no guarantees about future events. You remain in charge of your own choices.

Does a reading replace professional help?

No. A reading is a spiritual and intuitive service and does not replace medical, psychological, veterinary, legal or financial professional help, diagnosis or treatment.

Can the reading be in Dutch?

Yes. Readings are available in Dutch and English.

How does payment work?

After your request, you will receive a personal confirmation with the payment details. We will agree on the payment method when your reading is scheduled or confirmed. After payment, the appointment or written reading is final. You can find the current rates under Sessions & Rates.

I would genuinely like a reading, but I cannot afford the full fee. What can I do?

If you genuinely feel you would benefit from a reading but the full fee is not financially possible for you at the moment, you are welcome to contact me. We can discuss what may be possible. A reduced or alternative fee cannot always be offered or guaranteed, but you are always welcome to ask.
